When I saw my first piece come out of the kiln, I turned to the instructor and asked how he could even waste the kiln space to fire it. What a disaster, not even good enough to use as a flower pot tray as the base was so rough. What an embarrasement, but I did improve a bit over the first six week session thank goodness.
