About Mile High Ceramics in Denver, Colorado(Actually spelled "Mile Hi")Unfortunately, Mile Hi Ceramics in Denver, Co. is no longer in business. Mile Hi had been outfitting potters since 1954. It was an old family business. It was one of the only truly mile high ceramics stores in the country with it's location in the mile high city of Denver, Co. It had a huge selection of clay, tools, kilns, and glaze. It's central location made perfect sense for potters throughout the country for shipping of supplies, tools, equipment, and clay. It's long history showed an enduring commitment to supporting pottery making and the studio potter. My favorite thing about the store was the amazing 3-dimensional clay mosaic that covered a large part of the front of the building. They will be missed.
