Driving Nine Hours to Buy the Perfect Wheel

(Idaho Falls, Idaho)

We drove nine hours to buy a used Brent CXC wheel that I found online. We drove from Idaho Falls, Idaho to Sand Point, Idaho.

We camped overnight in Montana on the way there and made an adventure out of it. I bought the wheel from a retiring pottery instructor. He was really cool and told me all kinds of stories and gave me great advice about making pottery.

He actually inspired me to start teaching pottery on my own. Plus, he gave me a great deal on the wheel. I've used that wheel for many years and I totally love it.

It's a very quiet wheel. It has way more power than I could ever need. The main thing I love though, is how smooth the pedal is. It's like butter.
