Used pottery wheel

Question:

I am just beginning a search for a pottery wheel for a 9 yr old little girl. She had a cheap kids one and loved it. Now she wants a real one but $200 or more is not in my budget. Where can I get a reasonable priced one ?
This is her wish for her birthday and I would like to grant it to her. Please help me grant this little girls wish. You can reply to me at

It can be hard to find even a used pottery wheel for under $200, but my recommendation would be either Craigslist (search your area and also any larger nearby metro areas) or better yet, check out my post on how to buy a used pottery wheel. It has current ebay listings and a link to ebay.

I have seen a few pottery wheels for under 200 dollars on there from time to time.
